Can I do this program alongside my regular play or practice?

Yes, all LHSF workouts target the entire body, so you won’t feel overly sore in any specific area. We suggest trying the workout before a big event, by playing a practice round, to see how it affects your game. Do this a few times, because as we all know, golf has many variables and it's hard to pinpoint exactly what impacts your performance the most.

Can I do these workouts if I am injured?

At LHSF, we’re not medical professionals, so if you're injured, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider. That said, most people can still work out around an injury. Training the uninjured parts of your body still offers plenty of benefits. For example, if you have a shoulder injury, you can still focus on your legs, core, and the uninjured arm or shoulder.

Do the programs focus on golf-specific muscles?

You could argue that every muscle in the body is "Golf-Specific." At LHSF, we believe every program should include mobility, rotational power, and multi-planar movements. Most standard programs overlook these areas, which is why golf training programs prioritize them—these movements are essential for achieving optimal results on and off the course.

How will these programs improve my golf game?

At LHSF, we believe the modern golfer is an athlete and should train accordingly. Our programs are designed to enhance mobility, strength, power, conditioning, and coordination. As your physical fitness improves, you'll gain abilities that can be immediately applied to your golf swing for better performance.

Is there a community or a support system?

Yes - we invite everyone who purchases a program from us to join our Private Facebook Group. If you are joining Lift Heavy, Swing Fast - Our flagship programs on the app, there is also a chat feature available. Join hundreds of athletes who are on the same journey and receive support from a team of expert coaches.

Will this work for my home gym?

Our app has a "swap" feature that allows you to easily change exercises in app. We offer a variety of swap options for many of the core movements, so you can stay flexible in your training. Check out LHSF - HOME GYM for those who only have access to dumbbells and bands.

What kind of movements are in the programs?

We have a library of hundreds of movements on our YouTube channel. We encourage you to check it out to get a feel for our training style. That said, we believe the basics never fail. You will see a lot of variations of squats, deadlifts, presses, and upper body pulling movements in our programming.

How long do the workouts take?

Most of our workouts take 55 - 65 minutes including warm-up and cooldown depending on how many reps + sets are prescribed and your fitness level. FOUNDATIONS, our beginner program, can be completed in 45-55 minutes. You can see more detail for each program in the program descriptions.

Do I need a gym membership?

Nope! We made a HOME GYM version of our most popular program, Lift Heavy Swing Fast. Alternatively, we offer a 2-week Bodyweight program for those on the go and our Foundations and Customizable mobility programs are achieveable with minimal equipment.
